how did i miss this movie? hmm...wonder if i can find it at redbox...did not know it was a hitchcock remake...
I'm pretty sure I saw this one way back when
It was a good one if I recall correctly, I looked at my few 1000 dvds going up the wall and I don't have it in my stall, so I may have to see if I can find it among my travels and add it to the pile.
Yeah only rhymed a bit here and there, but I'm sure you don't care..lol
This was also when remakes weren't just made for the sake of making them and weren't complete crap. Unlike now a days when they'll remake anything with a name brand attached to it, just so they can make a quick buck and stupid people fall for it. Then have the nerve to whine that they were crap, well if you didn't go watch it, then they'd stop with the remake crap all the time..haha there was my rant for the moment.
Hi! Brian...
I discovered this film while visiting a film message board and the members, were discussing sequels, remakes, and whether plays can be considered remakes...
I'm not familiar with red-box, but I'm quite sure they will have a copy Of this film.
[Currently,I have a Netflix subscription...However, I plan to give red-box a "peek" in order to find out more about red-box.]
"did not know it was a hitchcock remake..."
Oh! yes, when I discovered that fact, I purchased this film immediately.
Brian, thanks, for stopping by and leaving a comment too!
deedee ;-D
Hi! Pat Hatt,
Wow! you, are the proud owner Of 1000 DVDs and I'm quite sure that your collection is growing...I don't think that I'm nowhere near owning that many DVDs yet...[with "yet" being the operative word.]
Pat Hatt said,"so I may have to see if I can find it among my travels and add it to the pile."
Oh! yes, Pat Hatt, I advise you, to do "that" and you probably, can purchase the film at a "steal" and go home and say Cassie and Miss Priss, what a "deal!"...I'm quite sure that they both will look at you with glowing eyes and meow..."we aren't surprised! lol

Pat Hatt, I agree with your quote "wholeheartedly," it just show you, how silly some moviegoers can "be"...I'm quite sure not you, and I know not Brian and me! lol!
"haha there was my rant for the moment."
You call it a "rant," but I on the other hand, simply call it a "comment." lol!
Pat Hatt, this is no lie, but I thank you, and Brian, both for stopping by! lol
deedee :-P
"I believe cats to be spirits come to earth. A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through."
— Jules Verne
Pat Hatt, While over there perusing at good-reads place this quote by [Jules Verne] "jumped-right up in my face" Jules Verne's Quote About Cats...I thought immediately, Of Cassie and Miss Priss, and said, to myself...I must share this quote with [Pat]Hatt and his cats!
I hope that they both like this quote if not, then on a "fur-ball" I will then "choke" and that is no "joke!"
lol
deedee ;-P
Oops! I had to rephrase this comment:
Oh! yes, Pat Hatt, I advise you, to do "that" and you probably, can purchase the film at a "steal" and go home and say Cassie and Miss Priss, what a "deal!"...I'm quite sure that they both will look at you with glowing eyes and say, meow..."Pat Hatt, we aren't surprised!"
[Now, feed us...or else...meow!]
lol
hahaha good comment that was
But shame on you, you screwed up because
Miss Priss and Cassie are one in the same
Orlin is the other name..hahaha
Oh and so you know
The 1000 was supposed to be plural that I left at your show
As I have well over 2000 dvds going up my wall
Yep running out of room at my stall
So yes they wouldn't be surprised one bit
Even if I had a happy fit
Just suck back the food
And be kind of rude
That was a great quote you found as well
I'm sure the cats would agree with a big meow and a yell
Pat Hatt said,"But shame on you, you screwed up because Miss Priss and Cassie are one in the same
Orlin is the other name..hahaha"
Omg! [Silent laughter!]
Please excuse me and don't have a "fit" because I wasn't aware that Cassie is also..."Miss Priss"...
Thank-you, for stopping by again and cleaning the egg off Of my face...Now, I have to return and learn what-is-what and who-is-who over there at "The Hatt's place! lol
[Note: Pat Hatt, you must one day explain this all to "me" for I'm lost you "see" Hmmm...No wonder yesterday Betsy, said, Good-night, only to Cassie, and not to Miss Priss, right now I'm out Of the loop and not in the mix...Oh! my, I'm in a terrible fix!]
deedee ;-D
The 1000 was supposed to be plural that I left at your show As I have well over 2000 dvds going up my wall
Oh! my that is an exorbitant amount Of DVDs to own...I hope that you have "room" and want need a "broom" if the 2000 DVDs decide to "fall" from your "wall" lol
deedee :-P
hahaha yes you seem to be out of the loop
Need to jump through another hoop
Or look a little harder at my place
Don't scrutch up your face
It might stay that way
That just cause dismay..lol
Miss Priss is Orlin's nickname for Cassie since she's always clean, up and up and not liking to get dirty, make sense now? That was easy wow...lol
The cats have knocked the dvds down here and there
As they went on a tear
But they are mostly on shelves now
Although sometimes they still knock them down some how
But yes it is a lot
Prob one too many I bought
But oh well as now I've seen a ton
And remember every one...mostly..lol
Hi! Pat Hatt...
Okay, now after reading your explanation I think that I'm in the loop, but before I jump completely through the hoop...Who's Orlin?
Once I find this info(rmation) out then I will be completely, "back on track!"
LOL
deedee ;-D
hahaha the big cat with hat, at the top of my blog, geeeeeeeez your head must have been full of fog.
But never fear I'll chalk it up to that french side of yours running a muck
Getting you confused and making you think what the ****...LOL
Hi! Pat Hatt...
[Laughter!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!]
deedee :-P
Why Helloooo! Pat Hatt...
I read both Of your retorts over there on your blog...You just wait until I get my hands on you, by this time tomorrow you will be done for and...through! LOL!
deedee :-P
Hmm it's this time tomorrow and I'm still here
But your germy hands caused me fear..lol
Remember to wash them before you ring my neck ok
Then at least you won't cause anymore dismay..lol
Pat Hatt said,"Hmm it's this time tomorrow and I'm still here
But your germy hands caused me fear..lol"
[Laughter!]
...Remember to wash them before you ring my neck ok Then at least you won't cause anymore dismay..lol
Hi! Pat Hatt...
"Ring your neck!" ...Oh! heck, Pat Hatt, that isn't what I planned to do...[I will never let you know what I planned to do...Because I want to be so kind, Oh, never mind!]
By the way, I wash my hands three times a "day..." Therefore, you will never have to be "dismay" and worry about catching any germs from me that maybe "contagious"
Believe me Pat Hatt, perish the thought for it's quite "Outrageous!"...lol
deedee :-D
hahaha You want to be kind
By not telling me the dastardly thoughts of murdering me going through your mind?
Oh how nice of you
Not making me want to feel blue
Before you stab me in the back
On the attack
I'll perish the thought
Because I can never be caught..lol
Hi! Pat Hatt...
I'm very surprised to see you, "back" [here on my shores] after yours and Betsy, [double-dirty teaming me] ambush "attack!"
Pat,
Once and for all I don't have "murder" on my "mind" like I told you, before I just want to be "kind"...Especially, when it comes to your no-hold bar low-down under-handed game Of...rhyme! [I'm Laughing out Loud]
deedee :-P
hahaha that last one was good
Yeah nothing violent from you is understood
But it's still fun to be low-down
And rhyme like a clown
And never fear Betsy gets hers too
So do I as we pay the rhyming due..lol
Oh and I looked for this movie the other day, but they didn't have it hmph.
Pat Hatt said,"Oh and I looked for this movie the other day, but they didn't have it...hmph"

Pat Hatt said,"So do I as we pay the rhyming due..lol"
By the way, Pat Hatt, I don't want to pay the rhyming due(s)...
Therefore, I guess that If I do play your rhyming game I have to walk on very delicate "glass..."
If I think that my feeling are going to be hurt by your little rhyming "_ss!"
[Laughter]Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!...It's pay back "time..."
Oops! I forgot that I'm suppose to be..."kind!"
LOL
hahaha now I really see what you mean about using both
As the same words came out of your mouth
And just when I be nice
You hit me with the spice..lol
I may have to order it from there
Not sure I will once again use my credit card online with flare
As some dirty SOB stole it once before
So may just look at a different actual store
Hi! Pat Hatt...
Now, I'm in "nice" mode again...
...Do you have an email address that you don't mind sharing?
Because I have a friend who live in Canada too...Who may have a copy and can "zip" it right over to you, and no credit card is needed.
lol
deedee :-D
haha no need what so ever
As I was quite clever
Took a look around
As pringles were needed to be found
And poof there is was
In the $5 bin buzz
As soon as I said it couldn't be found
Poof there is was at my ground
Oh and my email is on my blog
Not that hard to find through the fog..lol
Hi! Pat Hatt...
That's great news...
Now, there is no need to "finagle"(Sp) with my DVDs seller, and you can go back to eating your...Pringles! lol
Pat in the Hatt said,"Oh and my email is on my blog Not that hard to find through the fog..lol "
Pat Hatt,
I'm not in a "fog"...because I was unable to see your email...do that mean that my "goose" is "cooked?"
Because I "overlooked" your email on your blog and Therefore, that place me in a "fog?"
Wait, I will answer the question...No!
deedee :-P
I bet this is good! I loved the original Hitchcock! Love Douglas in anything!
Hi! Betsy...
According to Amazon.com commenter this film deserves a thumbs-up...I have watched this film a couple Of times and found it to be somewhat better than Hitchcock's version.
[I was surprised to find out that a fellow blogger and Hitchcock aficionado...didn't care too much for this remake I disagreed with him Of course.]
Betsy, Thanks, for stopping by and leaving a comment too!
deedee ;-D
Well the email was on my profile and not blog
So that could have caused you a bit of fog..haha
Yeah his movies are usually good, but Don't Say a Word sucked, the trailer made it look good, but it was complete crap.
Once I find time to watch it I'll see what I think.
Why Helloooo! Pat Hatt...
Oh! "fiddle dee dee" I made a "slight"
"mistake" and now I have the "fog police" up in my "face" and on my "case..."
Pssst...Hey you, "fog" police, want you give me a "break!"...[Oh! my, If I make another near fatal mistake...]
I hate to think what you are going to "do" "slap" the handcuffs on me "too?" LOL
deedee :-P
The Fog Police speak in a deep bass
They also carry a rather large mace
As handcuffs just won't do
They have to teach a lesson to you
And if you can't learn and embrace
You may just disappear without a trace(not really..lol)
But a break might be given depending upon how good you can weasel your way out
Maybe if you pretend to pout..LOL
"The Fog Police speak in a deep bass..."
I'm Laughing out Loud... and?
"They also carry a rather large mace As handcuffs just won't do..."
[Laughter!] I kind Of figured that the fog police carried mace... How else can you "fog" up the "place" after spraying me and your followers [readers] in the "face!" lol
"They have to teach a lesson to you And if you can't learn and embrace You may just disappear without a trace(not really..lol)"
Pat Hatt, I bet you, and Orlin, are trying to do me in that why you "threw" that [not really] in...Who are you, the thought police too?]
You can't tell me what to think and how to act that is something that the "fog" and "thought" police can never do!
LOL
But a break might be given depending upon how good you can weasel your way out Maybe if you pretend to pout..LOL:
Oh! Thank-you, honorable leader, for giving me such a "break," but believe me with my considerable charms...my pout I don't have to "fake!" LOL
deedee ;-D
oh this sounds good - i like Gwyneth Paltrow a lot...need to watch this..
Hi! Claudia...
I'am truly surprised by how many people have not viewed this film yet...This film is a remake that is based on a play...
...I must admit a fascinating little thriller.Which I Of course think is little bit more stylish and suspenseful than the original. [Hitchcock's "Dial M For Murder"]
[Note: Another uber-avatar...I like the way, you give your photographs a creative edge or a "edgy look" too...Claudia, Thanks, for stopping by and leaving a
comment too.]
deedee ;-D
I think I saw this movie years ago with my girlfriends...great movie!
